Showing, Not Telling: Create and Share Stories for the DIGITAL Age
This workshop is designed for teachers interested in creating compelling videos for their flipped classroom and/ or for teachers that want to help their students to craft meaningful digital stories. The focus of the session will be: 1) how to create compelling, engaging digital stories in a variety of genres (narrative, informative and persuasive) to communicate clear, intended messages, and 2) how to combine good writing and storytelling strategies with moviemaking techniques and digital media tools to create original works that give students a “voice” to share with the larger community.
